Frequently Asked Questions for Hospital Assessment


This service is designed in accordance with the ARS §36-2901.08 effective January 1, 2014 for AHCCCS Administration to collect a Hospital Assessment for required hospitals.


Enrollment and Login

How do I view my Hospital Assessment Invoice online?
First, you will need to go to the "Assessments" section on the AHCCCS Online website. Then click on the "View Hospital Assessment Invoice" link. You will need to enter the six digit AHCCCS Provider ID and the nine digit Tax ID (no spaces or dashes). Click the Search button to view your invoice.

How do I make a Hospital Assessment payment?
First, you will need your six digit AHCCCS Provider ID and your zip code on record with AHCCCS. You may also click on the link below.

Then review the "AHCCCS Online Hospital Assessment Guidelines" acknowledgment page.
If you agree to the guidelines and wish to proceed with an online payment, select the "I Agree" button that confirms you have read, understand and agree to abide by the guidelines. Selecting the "I Disagree" button confirms that you have read, understand and disagree to abide by the guidelines and do not want to make an online payment.

On the next page, click the "Enroll Now" button on the left hand side of the page. Review the "AHCCCS Hospital Assessment" Terms and Conditions. If you have read, understood and agree to the Terms and Conditions, click "I Agree" at the bottom of this page.

Enter the AHCCCS Provider ID in the "Account Number" field and the zip code on record with AHCCCS.

Do I need any special hardware or software to sign up for the "Healthcare Revenue Manager" service?
No special hardware or software is required to use this service. You will only need Web access and your browser.


What if I forget my password?
For security reasons, we ask that you reset a new password when logging into the Bank of America/AHCCCS Hospital Assessment online payment site. To reset your password, click on "Forget Password" on the login page. You will then be asked your "Login ID", AHCCCS Provider ID, and Zip Code. You will then be asked to create a new password.


Is there a fee for AHCCCS Online Payment service?
There is no cost for enrolling in and using the AHCCCS Online Payment site. See the service Terms and Conditions for complete details.



How Can I Pay

What types of credit cards are acceptable?
You cannot use a credit card to make a payment. You may use a business checking or business savings bank account number to make a payment. You will need your account number and the bank ABA routing number. Cash, cashier’s checks and money orders are not acceptable forms of payment.


How do I add new bank account information?
Under the "Payments" link, click on the "Manage Funding Sources" link, you can delete, modify, or add new bank account information there.



When Can I Pay

After enrolling in the AHCCCS Online Payment service, when can I start paying my Hospital Assessment?
After you complete and submit the information on the enrollment page, your service will be activated immediately. You can then access the Online Payment service to pay your current Hospital Assessment invoice.


If I make an online payment on a Saturday, Sunday or Federal holiday, when will it post to my account?
Your payment will process the following normal business day after 3:00 p.m. Arizona Time.


If my payment is past due, can I still make a payment?
Yes.


Can I make a payment greater or less than my regular quarterly payment amount?
No. You can only pay the total amount due for your account.


My payment has cleared my bank but has not posted to my account. What should I do?
